Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Chris Castle
Chris lives and works near London. He’s written over two hundred stories and completed two books.
“The Escapist” may appear to be a strange title, but the story itself gives the word an unusual meaning. It’s short but profound study of identity and role-playing. The main character finds that he’s an accidental actor in a script composed inadvertently by his aging mother. In the end, the “actor” escapes from the loneliness imposed by the part he has assumed, but he retains the compassion that has motivated him.
