Rochelle Potkar
Rochelle lives in Mumbai. She has graduate degrees in Advertising and Marketing but now writes scripts for children’s educational films. Her short stories have won at least one prize and have appeared or are due to appear in anthologies.
“The Guest” depicts the drama of Jaggia, a frustrated, would-be film actor. He makes ends meet by working as a kind of butler and house-sitter for a wealthy couple. The moral seems to be “What goes around, comes around” or “The weed of crime bears bitter fruit.” In any event, as long as Jaggia is going to commit murder, it’s best he not give any ideas to his subordinate, whom he treats quite disdainfully and who might like to take his place...
