Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Arthur Carey
Arthur lives in the San Francisco Bay area and is a former reporter and journalism instructor. He has published fiction widely in magazines and on the Net.
“Prisoners of the Future” is a logical twist on a time-honored alternate-history topic: removing Hitler from world history. A lot depends on exactly when the alternate history kicks in. A review editor cites Ian Kershaw’s Fateful Choices: Ten Decisions that Changed the World, 1940-1941, a time when the fictional Himmler’s plans were being discussed in Berlin. The scientist with the time machine seems to intervene too late and makes things even worse. One might wonder why.
