S.D. lives in Texas, where he started writing poetry while still young and then turned to songwriting, visual art and now short stories. Say, S.D., maybe you can send us some of your artwork for our Art Gallery as well as more stories?

Readers familiar with Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray — which is required reading in English literature anyway — will see “Falling Shut” as a wry joke based on an inversion of Wilde’s premise.
