Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Beverly Ann Meyers
Beverly has been an avid writer for some 20 years now, writing a novel and short stories. She’s been active in writers’ groups in the Philadelphia area.
We classify “A Scent of Jasmine” as a fictional memoir because that is its structure. The narrator remembers a lot about her mysteriously disappeared sister Janine, but her feelings seem to have become muted over the years. Even so, we can guess what they must have been: at the end, the young lady puts on Janine’s favorite coat, which has been lovingly preserved.
