Lesley Mace

Lesley lives in Hertfordshire, where she makes wine, coordinates a writers’ group, and writes prolifically. She’s written over seventy short stories in the genres of crime, horror, supernatural, history, and contemporary mainstream. Many of them have been published and some have won prizes in competitions. She recently completed a historical novel on an Arts Council grant.

“Broken Glass” is an elegant little flash fiction that takes literally the idiomatic expression “to bottle up one’s feelings.”
