Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Angie Smibert
Angie says she fled the corporate world to pursue a career as a writer. And she seems to have had some success with publications on line and in print.
In “Fresh Shoots,” an old science fiction theme — that of extreme longevity — comes to resemble a necrologue, where real characters who never met in life hold a conversation with each other. The characters in this story are fictional, of course, but their backgrounds are real enough. Two questions preoccupy them: what is the best role for women, and whether they are a part of life or are spectators to the history that unfolds around them.
