Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Peter Woodruff
Peter is an outdoorsman living in rural Illinois. He’s also a writer and is working on his eighth novel. He also writes short stories and humorous essays, particularly on outdoor sports.
“The Thing in the Pond” is aptly titled: it is a variation on the theme of space alien invasion made popular by such films as The Andromeda Strain and the remake of The Thing. Its subtext is a “sleeper” ecological crisis of modern times: the prospect of a water famine.
Peter Woodruff’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Peter. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
