Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Nigel Bruton
With Ye Publisher Jerry Wright leading the way, we now have at least two and probably more electrical engineers at Bewildering Stories with the addition of Nigel Bruton.
Nigel and his family are four-motored Snowbirds: spring to fall in Ontario and the winter in Costa Rica. That’s a coincidence: a computer engineer friend of mine is just about to retire there. But Nigel can take comfort from the bio picture of Ye Copy Editor and see what he’s missing out on in winter back in Ontario.
“Northern Light” has aroused a French Academy-scale controversy among the review editors. The metaphor of woman and aurora borealis is a grand one, but do the meter and rhyme scheme fit the topic? We don’t have Louis XIII or XIV to decide for us, and that’s the fun of it.
Nigel Bruton’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Nigel. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
