Paul Carlson

Paul lives in the San Francisco bay area with his family. He’s long been a science fiction fan and has wanted to write stories of his own. He’s had an unusual advantage and honor: a long friendship by correspondence with none other than Poul Anderson.

“Only Human” is based on reality. What writer could invent those TV ads? And young Ellie Thinnes — her last name is a giveaway if you’ve been watching TV long enough — would make a delightful companion for Jeani Rector’s Cat Daniels. Ellie has a sassy streak that Cat might want to ride herd on, except when it might solve a case, of course.
