Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Gerald Budinski
Mr. Budinski joins the ranks of engineers among our contributors and, in western New York state, lives close to a hotbed of Bewildering Stories activity in Ontario. Gerald has taken up writing fiction in retirement and must be wondering: “Why didn’t I do this earlier...?” He’s published widely, and two of his stories have been nominated as Story South’s choices for the best of 2005.
“Exit from Xanadu,” in this issue, is a humorous kind of Jiggs & Maggie with a dark Walter Mitty twist. Of course we know Myra will get off when the police can’t find a body. But it may take a little while: nobody will want to come back from the real Xanadu on the other side of the tesseract...
