Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Danielle L. Parker
You really have to wonder where some ’zines get off: “This is science fiction: eeek! And that’s too long...” Well, Bewildering Stories prospers where others don’t know what’s good for ’em, and we have two lively stories coming up from Danielle: “The Curse of the Dog-Faced Mummy,” in this issue, and another Captain Blunt adventure to follow soon.
Like many of our authors, Danielle has ambitions for a writing career, but her heart is in the right place: she wants to have fun writing and share the fun with readers. And we’re very glad she’s chosen us.
The technology bubble, if that’s what it was, seems to have taken its toll. Danielle is somewhere between careers not far from where our publisher, Jerry Wright, lives in Washington state. In fact, we have a sizable representation in that corner (center?) of the world. And a number of our readers and authors are in technology... Maybe we can find a way to arrange an on-line convention, by location, careers or interests.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Danielle. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
Danielle’s biographical sketch can be found here.
