Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...

Robert Boucheron

Robert works as an architect in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has published stories and essays widely . He is the print editor of the Rivanna Review and hosts a related television program.

A Quiet Evening at Home” communicates a moral very cleverly: the ostensible “good guy” of the story simply wants some peace and quiet, but he finally breaks and turns to violence when things get entirely too noisy. At the end, even he’s not sure what he’s done. But he might surmise that his pet cat has run off because she wants no part of it.
