Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Raymond Paquette
Raymond studied Archeology and Education at the University of Calgary but currently teaches English in Japan. Raymond has been studying writing popular fiction and hopes to publish long works.
“The Empty Building” is a short story that is evidently set in Japan. And the immediate setting is a building that seems to have a habit of appearing and disappearing at various moments in time, according to whom Shinji is looking for and whom he actually finds. Readers will very likely find the premise and plot to be an intricate puzzle.
