Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
James Nelli
James is originally from Cicero, Illinois, which is near Chicago, but he now lives with his wife and near his extended family in southern California. He has degrees in economics and international business. James has always loved to write fiction, which has included murder mystery novels and poignant short stories.
“Benjamin’s Lures” will surely charm readers with its underlying “spirit of place” theme. Benjamin loses his prime lure ehile fishing on a lake. A teenager named Noah lends Benjamin a lure of his own. The cemtre of the story thus shifts from Benjamin to Noah.: Where does the boy come from? And why is he so helpful to a stranger? The dramatic risk is that readers may object to sentimentality, namely unearned emotion. But keep in mind who the story is really about.
