Bewildering Stories News
Our Links section has been renovated and updated. The biographies are coming along nicely, but the bibliographies are hard to keep up to date. Please remind me if yours needs additions or changes.
In making the transition from Mac OS 9.2.2 to OS 10.3.4, I’ve had to do a lot of file-shuffling behind the scenes. I’ve been striving Macfully to make sure that no accepted submissions have been overlooked or communications inadvertently left unanswered.
Remember, if you send something and don’t receive an acknowledgement within one week, please inquire. If we need you to resend something, we’ll ask. As usual, we prefer to receive files in plain text — and please, not HTML! — but it’s okay to send a word-processor file as an attachment; AppleWorks can probably find a translator for it.
Meanwhile, e-mail bounce notices tell us that we have lost contact with two correspondents: Deep Bora and Wallace Cass. Deep’s disappearance is of great concern, especially since we have an article of his that we want to publish pending completion. File-juggling has turned up a serial of Mr. Cass’s that we’d like to print; we withheld publication initially at his request and need his okay to proceed.
We’re still tapping our Bewildering foot waiting for more nominations for the Year II Retrospective for issues 53-60. And it’s time to start on issues 61-70. We can just hear the reaction now, when the “hit parade” is published: You gotta be kidding! How could you leave out...?” That would be great! Now, send us your protest vote in advance.
