Bewildering Stories biography
to Bewildering Stories bibliography
After decades of editing college textbooks, Pat Wakeley has turned recently to more imaginative forms of the written word. In this endeavor, she is aided and abetted by her writing group, a small but stellar cluster of writers who call themselves the Wordwrights.
In 2007 she graduated from the Stonecoast MFA program up in Maine. “Over the Edge” doesn’t follow many of the precepts she learned at Stonecoast, but she had a lot of fun writing such an oddball story.
Other publications include essays in Glyphs III, an anthology published by Moab Poets and Writers, Inc., in appreciation of the beautiful redrock country in southeastern Utah. Short stories have appeared in Carolina Woman and in the e-zine Long Stories Short.
Pat Wakeley lives and writes in North Carolina, where she is currently working on a novel.
