Bewildering Stories biography
My name is Paul La Bella and I am a land surveyor living in New York State. I’ve wanted to become a writer since I was young, but only got serious about the craft over the last year or so.
I met my beautiful and loving wife in high school in 2010, and we were married in November of 2018. We have two children and a third expected in January of 2025.
My first published story, “No Cure for the Pain,” is the product of a bad toothache, a fear of dentists, and an obsession with Ray Bradbury and The Twilight Zone.
I am currently working on a novel inspired by my love of comic books, horror stories and crime thrillers. I hope to complete the novel before my third child enters the world, as I expect my writing time to significantly diminish, at least for a little while.
