Bewildering Stories biography

I’m a 31-year old writer who makes his home in an unassuming corner of west London.

The World Wide Web isn’t big enough to contain a complete list of all of my favourite writers, but right at the top at the moment are Caitlin R. Kiernan, Joe Hill, Gene Wolfe, and Koji Suzuki. And Avram Davidson. And Liz Williams. And Harlan Ellison. And Theodora Goss. And several hundred others.

I’ve been writing on and off for half my life; several UK magazines were kind enough to publish a number of my stories back in the mid-late 1990s, including The Third Alternative, Xenos, Kimota, and Black Tears, amongst others.

Life kind of got in the way after that, but now I’m back, mesmerised once again by that flickering cursor. ‘Petrified Angel’ is the first story I’ve had accepted in nearly eight years; you’ll find the second, “Some Accounts of Strange Disturbances in Cromer Street,” at Horrorseek.com in early March.
